This is my effort to convert even the most retinol phobic. Retinol is an integral ingredient for anyone serious about caring for their skin, but it gets a bad reputation because it can cause irritation while your skin is acclimating to it. Because Double Feature has time-release retinol, it is palatable to even sensitive skin types.

- Lactic Acid
Derived from vitamin A, retinol is a powerhouse ingredient that increases cell turnover and stimulates collagen production. Additionally, it hinders collagen breakdown and thickens skin’s deep layers, where wrinkles originate. It is proven to minimize damage and improve acne by prompting surface skin-cell turnover, welcoming new cell growth. This enhanced process diminishes pigmentation and smooths skin.
Lactic acid hydrates skin and increases its natural barrier lipids while exfoliating its outermost layer, helping to stimulate natural collagen production and even skin by brightening, fading hyperpigmentation and healing blemishes.
Derived from olives, squalane possesses replenishing fatty acids and antioxidants. As a natural component of skin sebum, it encourages balance while hydrating, moisturizing and reinforcing skin’s natural moisture barrier.
Apply 4-5 drops to clean, dry skin after cleansing and toning, avoiding the eye area. For PM use. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night as tolerated. Retinol and AHA may increase your skin’s sensitivity to sunburn. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen when using this product. Avoid use if you are pregnant or nursing. Suitable for nearly all skin types, including sensitive skin.
