Biohacking Seoul

Biohacking Seoul

What a doctor gets done in the mecca of beauty

My recent trip to Seoul was a deep dive into regenerative beauty. I tried it all—from stacked laser sessions and fat transfer to a full-body diagnostic workup. As both surgeon and patient, I was ready to test drive every regenerative, diagnostic, and recovery-focused treatment I could find. Below is the short version of everything I tried. For my fellow beauty geeks, the full diary lives here.

Laser Stacking at GU Clinic

  • Aqua Peel to prep and clear pores
  • Excel V laser for redness
  • Pico toning to target pigmentation
  • Rejuran skin booster (by infused, not injection) for regeneration
  • Onda skin tightening on my thighs (hello, summer legs)
  • LED light therapy and a soothing mask to close

No numbing needed. Minimal downtime. Subtle results. They answered my many questions enthusiastically, but I did have to push for customized treatment suggestions. If you know what you want, GU delivers. But if you’re hoping for guided recommendations, you may leave wanting more.

Jeunex Clinic: Regeneration Reimagined

I came for nanofat and left a full convert (again). Dr. Kasey’s meticulous planning and surgical eye gave me total confidence. As someone who’s performed fat transfer myself, it was refreshing to be on the other side of the needle. Regenerative aesthetics has long fascinated me—and this experience only deepened that appreciation.

The K-Beauty Neck Fix: Cheong A Clinic

Dr. Lee treated my neck using a multimodal approach: Thermage, wrinkle-relaxing injections, PDRN, and filler for necklace lines. Watching her work was a masterclass in precision. She even complimented my early fat grafting results and asked who my surgeon was ;)

Recovery, Reimagined

Jeunex also offered standout post-op care: ultrasound massage, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and yes, I packed my LED for nightly sessions back at the hotel. A beauty nerd’s dream.

Head Spa Wind-Down

Dam Hye Won offered a microneedling-enhanced scalp treatment in private rooms—ideal for winding down. A lovely experience, even if I had to jump in to detangle my curls. (They weren’t used to textured hair.)

My Takeaway

This trip reinforced what I’ve always believed: the most powerful skincare supports the skin’s own intelligence. As a surgeon, I see what happens when skin is gently guided to repair—rather than forced to react.

That same philosophy inspired our most-loved product, Master Plan.

Nanofat, one of the treatments I received in Seoul, uses stem cell-rich fat to renew and refine the skin. I used that same principle to formulate Master Plan—a serum powered by stem cell conditioned media derived from human adipose tissue (yes, fat).

It taps into the same regenerative signaling seen in clinical treatments like nanofat, helping skin recover better, faster, and stronger.

Clinically proven to improve hydration, firmness, elasticity, and bounce, Master Plan delivers the kind of results usually reserved for the OR.
